DEL

When The Greater Copenhagen Light Rail opens in 2024, it will be easier, faster and more comfortable to travel across Greater Copenhagen. The light rail will extend over 28 km, pass through eight municipalities and have 29 stations. The future passengers will be able to change to S-train lines at six stations, which makes the light rail a great contribution to a more coherent and effective public transportation system in the Copenhagen area.

The team, that Artelia is part of, has won contracts regarding civil works for the sections passing through Lyngby- Taarbæk and Vallensbæk, Brøndby and Glostrup municipalities. This implies 18 km of the light rail line.

Artelia will contribute with expertise in the fields of railwork, roads, bridges, traffic planning, geotechnics, civil works, environment and drainage.
