Retail

Artelia has provided consultancy for over 700,000 sqm of shopping centre construction in Denmark alone. We know how to meet the changing demands of the physical environment when customer flow increases, new store concepts are developed and consumer behaviour changes.

Shopping centre construction is often a dynamic process, as tenancy apportionment is not known in advance. Artelia uses the latest digital tools to make it easy to change the design and visualise the layout of the various elements of the building.

The transformation of Fisketorvet – Copenhagen Mall

Fisketorvet’s new four-storey food universe with over 30 places to eat and outdoor seating by the water, called KAJEN, transforms the centre’s restaurant area into a lively meeting place.

This transformation reflects the new trend where shopping centers are becoming more transparent, so that they better can interact with their surroundings and comply with today’s demands for daylight.
Artelia has helped prepare a new district plan, where more thought is given to experiences and multifunctional areas.
