In particular, the scrutiny of construction projects has a major impact on road safety and can lead to major savings for society at relatively low cost. For example, an injury caused by accident at 2013 prices costs an average of DKK 2.6 million (ref. DTU transport). By comparison, a road safety audit costs an average of approximately 1% of the construction costs of a road or path project, depending on size.

Artelia has four certified road safety auditors, all of whom have extensive experience in advising on road safety, from the planning stage up to the final project. In addition, we help make school roads etc. safer and help in the development and implementation of campaigns promoting road safety.
