Urban DevelopmentJulie Hansen2024-07-02T11:36:25+02:00 Urban Development New settlements are emerging on the periphery of cities or replacing end-of-life business areas. In some places, brand new cities are built on green field sites. We create the foundation for development by combining expertise in urban planning with a wide range of skills in construction, infrastructure, environment and sustainability. The areas we work in include land development, to prepare undeveloped sites for building. The transformation of MusikhusparkenThe transformation of Musikhusparken in Aarhus will create an attractive green area in the middle of the city that connects cultural institutions and improves the city’s traffic connections. In collaboration with Schønherr, Habitats and the artist Morten Stræde, Artelia contributes to creating a meeting point for the city’s guests. The project will, among other things, include the ARoS Gardens, a new ice rink, playground and the artwork ‘Vandkunsten’. Traffic and rainwater management are essential parts of the project, which is expected to be completed during 2025.
