Artelia’s engineering services in energy are developing fast and we need an experienced electrical engineer who wants to take part in expanding and further developing our services in power engineering. As a design manager in our department Electrical systems & SCADA (El & SRO) you get a central role in implementing electrical systems in complex energy infrastructure. Together with professionally skilled colleagues you take part of the development of future energy projects and promote the green transition in Denmark.

Your work tasks will vary, but your focus will primarily be on project management, discipline lead and interface management and interdisciplinary coordination on the projects. You will get a central role being involved in nearly all project phases.

The projects are power plants, power supply projects in electrical production, transmission and distribution and multi-disciplinary projects such as integration of onshore solar and wind energy, P2X and Carbon Capture.

Our clients are power plants, district heating plants, transmission and distribution companies and airports and industry.

Electrical Installations & SCADA – We are expanding
The position is in our Department for Electrical Systems & SCADA (El & SRO) in the Business Unit Energy, which is a part of the Division Energy and Industry. In the division we are approximately 100 employees in five departments. The division provides consulting services in constructions, electrical systems and installations, automation, HVAC, cooling, energy plants machinery, and process as well as client consultancy for the energy and industrial sector.

In the department El & SRO, you will get 12 professional and skilled colleagues solving various tasks within electricity and automation at high, medium, and low voltage level. The position will give you plenty of opportunities to imprint development of the department where we prioritize a good cooperation and coherence in a busy workday.

Your profile

  • You have an electrical background as power engineer, electrician preferably with high voltage as your specialty or other relevant technical education.
  • You have at least 10 years’ experience from a similar position in electricity and power engineering.
  • You have components’ knowledge and experience with design of high and low voltage installations.
  • You have solid professional competences based on up-to-date knowledge in electrical systems and installations in addition with strong competences in the medium and high voltage area.
  • You have project management experience and/or design management experience as discipline lead for electricity/ high voltage in projects.
  • You are solution oriented, professionally dedicated in a goal oriented and pragmatic way with focus on the client’s needs and you can be part of the cooperation with the client and the contractors.
  • You have good communication skills and is fluent in English and/or Danish.
  • You are a team player who wants to take part in the development of the department.

Your key responsibilities

  • Electrical discipline lead for design and dimensioning of large electrical systems and installations in transformer substations including station layout, cable, transformer and coupling installations, relay protection and control systems.
  • Knowledge sharing and/or quality assurance of net calculations such as effect, short circuit and selectivity analysis.
  • Knowledge sharing and/or quality assurance of technical specifications and design/electrical inspection of low and medium voltage systems in energy projects.
  • Assistance with elaboration and quality assurance of technical tender documents for electrical systems & installations.
  • Implementation and follow-up on construction sites and test and commissioning of electrical systems at high, medium, and low voltage level.
  • Take active part in the professional development and knowhow in the department.
