Artelia’s business unit Energy is undergoing a positive development, and we need an experienced electrical engineer who is eager to develop our electrical power engineering business. As an electrical engineer with high voltage speciality, you will have a central role within implementation of electrical systems in complex energy infrastructure. Together with experienced and skilled colleagues you will imprint future energy projects and promote the green transition in Denmark.

You will get the opportunity to work with many different energy projects including energy supply and power plant projects in electric power production, transmission and distribution and interdisciplinary projects such as integration of onshore solar and wind energy, P2X and Carbon Capture.

Our clients are power plants, district heating plants, electrical transmission, and distribution companies and airports and industry where expert knowledge and experience with medium and high voltage are needed.

Electricak Systems & SCADA – We are expanding
The position is in our Department for Electrical Systems & SCADA (EI @ SRO) in the Business Unit Energy, which is part of the Division Energy and Industry. In the division we are approximately 100 employees in five departments. The division provides consulting services in constructions, electrical systems and installations, automation, HVAC, cooling, energy plants machinery, and process as well as client consultancy for the energy and industrial sector. In the department El & SRO, you will get 12 professional and skilled colleagues solving various tasks within electricity and automation at high, medium, and low voltage level.

As an experienced electrical engineer, you will primarily act as a specialist on complex assignments. You will get the opportunity to develop your competences in medium and high voltage systems and you take part in the future growth of the department where we prioritize a good cooperation and cooperation and coherence in a busy workday. It is an advantage if you have worked as project manager or discipline lead.

Your Profile

  • You have an electrical background as power engineeelectrician preferably with high voltage as your specialty or other relevant technical education.
  • You have at least 5 years' experience from a similar position in electricity and/or power engineering/high voltage.
  • You have a good knowledge of electrical systems and experience with design of high and low voltage systems, including technical specifications for implementation and tender process.
  • You have strong proffessional competences based on up-t-date knowledge in electrical systems and installations. If possible, also strong competences in the medium and high voltage area.
  • You enjoy the variation between large and small tasks and are not afraid to move outside your discipline area.
  • You understand calculation tools such as Power Factory or similar, and you can do an electrical system study.
  • You are experienced in discipline management and work on projects in cooperation with the client’s specialists and contractors.
  • You are solution oriented, professionally dedicated focusing on the client’s needs.
  • You have good communication skills and is fluent in English and/or Danish.
  • You are a team player and wants to contribute to the development of the department.

Your key responsibilities

  • Design and dimensioning of large electrical systems and installations in transformer substations including station layout, cable, transfomer and coupling installations, relay protection, control systems and knowledge of components.
  • Assistance to Power Factory calculations such as effect and short circuit and selectivity analysis.
  • Technical specifications and design of low, medium, and high voltage installations in energy projects.
  • Discipline management and interdisciplinary coordination.
  • Elaboration of technical tender documents for electrical systems, including descriptions, diagrams, reports, drawings and requirements to construction, operation, and maintenance of the systems.
  • Implementation, electrical inspections and follow-up on construction sites and test and commissioning of electrical systems at high, medium, and low voltage level.
  • Contributing actively to the professional development and feedback in the department.
