January 18th Topping-out ceremony on BIO4. The new expansion of Amagerværket, which is one of the country’s largest construction sites. March 15th We can reveal that Artelia is part of the team, that is responsible for a comprehensive transformation of Fisketorvet. May 23rd MOE, Green Building Council Denmark and Aalborg University will be implementing a health promoting update of the sustainability scheme DGNB. June 11th The new shortcut from the metro to security in Copenhagen Airport is invigorated by three 100-meter runners, whom will run the red band down on the 100-meter long bridge. Artelia has been a consultant and construction manager on the project. June 22nd Several media outlets bring the news that the first Radisson RED opens in the heart of Aarhus in 2019. Artelia is both engineer and project developer on the new hotel. July 4th Artelia will be the engineer of 8 new high-rise buildings in the upcoming Park City at Sohngårdsholmsvej in Aalborg. September 17th In collaboration with C.F. Møller Architects Artelia wins the first part of the project in the transformation of Aarhus Municipal Hospital to a new campus area for Aarhus University. The project consists of 5 separate buildings totaling approx. 28,900 m2, including 6-7,000 m2 of laboratories and teaching laboratories. October 4th The new learning environment at the Royal Library in Aarhus is voted School Building of the year. As part of the team behind the renovation project, we participated in the prizing ceremony. Oktober 31st Arena Ulstein wins the “State Award for Building Quality” in Norway. The prize will be awarded by the Norwegian Municipal and Modernization Minister Monica Mæland. November 19th We can finally reveal that the City of Copenhagen receives a new state-of-the-art traffic model provided by a team with Artelia in the lead. November 22nd Artelia helped win the competition for a new housing project at the tip of Ørestaden. The winner project is UN17 Village and will translate the UN’s 17 world goals in the construction industry.
