The acquisition strengthens the companies’ position in construction development and management, where value is created through early-stage project development, multidisciplinary collaboration, and professional management through project completion.
Strong strategic synergies
Kuben Management offers a unique, integrated consultancy model from initial concept to completed construction for non-profit housing associations, as well as institutional and private investors. The acquisition gives Artelia access to specialist expertise in the development and delivery of residential construction projects, an area in which Kuben Management holds a strong market position and has contributed to the development and construction of more than 160,000 homes over the years.
At the same time, Kuben Management gains access to Artelia’s more than 50 disciplines, including technical analysis and consultancy, environmental assessments, geotechnical engineering, and sustainability. Together, the companies will have a strong platform for becoming a leader in project development and client advisory services for private and public sector clients and non-profit housing providers in Denmark.
With this acquisition, Artelia strengthens its position as a client adviser while gaining access to the early stages of construction development, where the potential is significant. Long-term demand for housing is clear – both in the larger cities, where private and non-profit housing complement each other, and in regional towns, where non-profit housing plays a central role in local development. Kuben Management’s experience and market position make the company an ideal partner for us.
Artelia brings us a broad range of technical expertise that strengthens our consultancy services from initial concept to completed construction and creates new opportunities for our clients. The complexity and regulation of construction development will continue to increase, and as part of the Artelia Group, we will be able to offer more integrated, efficient, and sustainable consultancy services – from initial analyses through to occupancy. We see significant opportunities for development for both clients and employees in our shared future.
The companies share a project-oriented culture in which professional expertise, a sense of community, and collaboration come together around the project’s objectives. This provides a solid foundation for a shared future.
Shared ambitions
Together, Artelia and Kuben Management will be in a stronger position in a market characterised by increasing complexity and growing demand for integrated consultancy services. The companies will have a solid foundation for developing new services and strengthening their market position – in urban and residential construction and in new segments.
The transaction will be completed once the competition authorities have approved the acquisition. Approval is expected in 2026, after which the collaboration will be rolled out gradually.
