Regardless of your type of employment, health and safety measures are an integrated part of your professional life. Someone is always responsible for health and safety procedures and they must keep workers safe and resolve hazardous situations.

All business owners and employers including consultants, developers and entrepreneurs are legally obliged to follow the Working Environment Act on health and safety regulations.

Health and safety regulations apply to all stages of a construction project and need to be incorporated early on. Designers and developers must ensure that their projected designs can live up to the required regulations in all stages of the project, this includes the construction phase, during repairs and during future operations.

Owners, subsequently, need to appoint a health and safety manager to each of their construction projects. Two or more employers need to be present at the construction site, simultaneously, to ensure that their constructions follow the Working Environment Act on health and safety regulations.

Employers are responsible for the health and safety of their employees during the daily work and must manage and resolve hazardous situations.

A company that has received an enforcement notice must hire an authorised consulting company to assist with the specific health and safety issues the company was notified for.

Health and Safety Coordination (buildings and construction)

The coordinated health and safety efforts are always based on the legal guidelines for asset owners and that which has otherwise been agreed upon for the specific project.

The coordinated health and safety initiatives are carried out in close collaboration with the design manager along with consultants and designers including engineers, architects, entrepreneurs and potential suppliers. The coordinated initiatives are based on preliminary examinations, health and safety evaluations along with other relevant information gathered by the different operators.

Health and Safety Consulting

Health and safety measures are implemented across sectors and are intended to support the professional health and safety responsibilities of the different operators. The initiatives are based on mutual agreements and follow regulations while they are also intended to add value to the client or the project.

Authorised Health and Safety Consultancy

The authorised consultancy of health and safety regulations focus on the enforcement notices and the issues these point out. The consultancy is based on continued dialogue between the company’s representative and the appointed health and safety management team along with on-site visits or company meetings.
