For us, Design Management is a key service crucial to the quality of the finished construction. We provide responsible and competent Design Management both on our own projects, and as a standalone service.

Design Management throughout the building process

Our Design Managers guide and assist developers safely through the building process. We coordinate interfaces between the design partners, draw up the organisation chart and the timetable for the design, organise decision-making processes and contribute to preparation of the basis for decisions and handle contact with the authorities on behalf of the developer.

We are not afraid to identify possible engineering solutions through our highly-qualified experts, take the lead in building team spirit and creating the right climate of collaboration. Our approach to Design Management is to maximise value for the developer through competent process management and securing support from a wide range of engineering disciplines.

We facilitate collaboration

We work progressively to facilitate collaboration, identify “critical activities”, ensure timely decisions, resolve possible conflicts, and coordinate contact with the authorities. We present data to the developer to support decision-making, and communicate decisions to the project team.

Design Management at Artelia is supported by strong competences within process management, communication and quality assurance, as well as our engineering fields. In this way, we can co-ordinate everyone involved in the construction most efficiently concerning architecture, landscaping, construction and installations in the building. We have done so in a huge number of construction projects ranging from power plants to architecturally-complex constructions and a high level of installation work.
