Lisbjerg Recycling Station<\/h3><\/div>

The station is constructed using recycled materials to the greatest extent possible to clearly signal its function. The substructures for spaces and roads are made of crushed concrete and bricks, while the pavements are made of recycled concrete and asphalt. The perimeter wall, retaining walls, columns, and the load-bearing walls in the staff building are made of recycled concrete with 60% recycled crushed concrete. The remaining part of the staff building is constructed from recycled wood, which is also the case for two halls that serve as exchange centers for recyclable materials.<\/p>\n

All facades and fascia cladding are made of collected recycled untreated wood, and the interior surfaces consist partly of collected recycled materials and partly of surplus materials from manufacturers.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Brick Cleaner for Affaldsselskab Vest Vendsyssel (AVV)<\/h3><\/div>

AVV I\/S has established a fully automated facility for cleaning used bricks. The delivery included the supply, installation, connection, and commissioning of a complete system.<\/p>\n

The bricks are cleaned mechanically in a gentle manner without the use of water, so the bricks can be reused for new construction as much as possible without generating wastewater.<\/p>\n

Cleaned material is directed to a container, and cleaned bricks are sorted and packed for easy further delivery.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Aabybro Recycling Center<\/h3><\/div>

The recycling center has been modernized to make waste handling more comfortable for both citizens and employees.<\/p>\n

The site has been raised by approximately 1.5 meters, so citizens drive up to a plateau and unload their waste into containers that are placed in a separate area. This allows the staff to work undisturbed.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Services<\/strong>\u00a0In the initial phases, Artelia was responsible for procuring preliminary investigations (geotechnical and necessary CCTV inspection), discussions with authorities, quality assurance of calculations, and environmental investigations prior to demolition to assess potential contamination and disposal.<\/h6>\n
Subsequently, lead consultancy and project management services were provided for the conceptual, tender, and execution phases of the project. This included handling the prequalification process and contractor tendering. Additionally, Artelia continuously assisted with citizen communication\/information, managed the overall project economy, and oversaw construction management.<\/h6>\n<\/div>
